Hi! I'm Joanna - the founder and CEO of RemoteScouts.
For 8 years, I lived in the big city and worked in an office as a B2B marketing professional. But when I moved to the countryside, commuting to an office depressed me. I couldn't bear the thought of spending 3 hours each day in traffic. So, I searched for a remote job and have been working remotely ever since!
After 4 years with the same remote company, it was time for a change. I started my remote job search again from scratch. I went to all the well-known remote job boards (and even some non-remote ones hoping to find remote options). I even went directly to several remote-first company websites to apply directly.
It was so challenging to first, find the jobs that interested me and secondly, compete with the thousands of other remote candidates who applied for the same positions.
I wanted to find someone who could help me. I wanted to find a remote recruiter.
I searched for a remote headhunter online, but I couldn't find one! I could only find either the usual remote job boards or a couple of companies that specialized in only IT-related remote jobs.
I realized that there is a need in the remote-work market for a recruitment agency specializing 100% in remote placements.
